After offering oranges to the forest, we set off and up the hill we rode! Passed Colchester and finally getting into the countryside and riding onto small lanes. On one of them was a man riding a horse. Murat beeped the horn, and the man got a bit pissed off and gave us a lecture on how to make the horse aware of presence in advance by wistling for example. He was very nice about it though, as we apparently nearly killed him!

We then reached the coast, and shortly after found a caravan site to pitch the tent for free. It’s really near to Harwich, from where we’re catching the ferry to Holland the next day! People in the caravans are really nice and offered us boiling water to make tea.Photo-0055Photo-0056
